The Promenade Apartments enjoy a very convenient and sunny position in Caprile and offer a spectacular view over the north-western face of Mount Civetta. The building is surrounded by a beautiful and spacious garden as well as ample parking. A pedestrian path starts right across the street and runs for approximately 5 kilometres, meandering past Caprile, Santa Maria delle Grazie, Alleghe, up to Masaré, at the end of the Lake Alleghe.

Only a few hundred metres away from the apartments is the village centre, packed with shops and services that can be quickly reached on foot.

The village of Caprile has a strategic location in the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. The famous peaks of Civetta, Marmolada, Pelmo, Tofane, and Sella, which is considered the geographical centre of the Dolomites, are all around within a short distance of Caprile.


The various roads that branch off from Caprile in many directions allow you to quickly reach many destinations in the Dolomites, whether they are part of your summer excursions, with several itineraries available, or as part of the exciting winter skiing on offer at the many Dolomiti Superski ski areas, most of which are interconnected.

  • access to the private garden.

  • two large balconies, one facing south and another facing west
  • access to the private garden.

Location

How to get to

The Promenade Apartments are situated between Caprile and Saviner, in a central but quiet and sunny location. 

Coming from the south, you can reach Caprile using the road system that criss-crosses the Alto Agordino area. These roads are directly connected to the A27 Venezia-Belluno motorway and pass through the villages of Mas, Agordo, and Cencenighe. The road is fine and smooth and during the winter you get to Caprile using snow tires, but there is no need for chains even in the extreme weather conditions.

For those coming from the north, Caprile is accessible through the following Dolomite passes: Fedaia, Pordoi, Campolongo, Falzarego, Giau, and Staulanza.

  • Approximately 130 metres from the public DolomitiBus stop.
  • During the winter, a public ski bus service connects the village with the ski areas of Civetta and Marmolada in just a few minutes. There is a ski bus stop approximately 130 metres from the Promenade Apartments.
  • From the Marmolada area you can reach, always skiing, the ski areas of Arabba, Alta Badia, Fassa, and Gardena
  • including of course the Sella Ronda too.

During the winter, the Dolomiti Superski ski resort system is a snow-blanketed dreamy landscape. Explore the various ski areas nearby, and if you wish, you can improve your technique with a ski instructor from the many ski schools in the area, such as Marmolada, Alleghe Civetta, and Arabba. Lovers of nature and outdoor activities will find that the surrounding area offers an almost endless amount of opportunities every season of the year.
